Are You Ready? Do You Meet the Prerequisites?
Firstly, you must meet the age requirements (you must be 10 years old minimum to be an Open Water Diver. If you would like to meet them first and try our our facility, you can always opt to go try diving first and then continue onto your open water diver course afterwards if you’re satisfied we tick all your boxes and you’re comfortable in our dive center.
Learning to dive involves three parts: Part one is Dive Theory study that includes the physics and physiology of diving. Part two is confined water training (often called pool training) where you learn and then practice basic skills. Part Three is the open water checkout dives to show mastery of basic dive skills. How Long Does It take to learn to dive?
It’s possible to complete your PADI Open water Diver Course in as few as three or four days by completing the dive theory portion first (best method to do this is by using the PADI Touch App Or e-Learning program) or partically complete your theory via home study with an e-book. Alternatively, if you have the time, you may also spread it out over a period of weeks if you have weekly work commitments and weekends free for example. Just let us know what you prefer. If you dont have a full 3-4 days on your holiday to Pattaya, you can still learn to dive and get a scuba diver certification in 2days which is bascially half of the open water diver course (You can top up and finish at any point in the future).
PADI Discover Scuba Diving
As a complete beginner, we can to take you straight out diving at the Pattaya islands. One of our experienced PADI Instructors will brief you on how to use your scuba equipment and then you will begin by breathing in the shallow water. When you are comfortable, you will be taken on a tour of the coral reef. Come and join us for a fun and safe day of scuba diving.
Two dives, hot lunch, all equipment and hotel taxi service included. Minimum age 10 years. No upper age limit as long as you are in good health.
Discover Scuba Diving is a try dive program not a certification, however if you enjoy your self and then you decide that you want to continue to get a PADI diver license, we will discount the 4,500 Baht from the cost of your PADI Open Water course! This option can work quite well for some people who would like to try diving before making the full commitment to the PADI Open water course.

PADI Open Water Diver Course
Sign up for the world’s most popular scuba diving course and become a PADI Open Water Diver. As long as you are in good health and a minimum of 10 years old then your new adventure starts here. Experience the underwater world, float effortlessly over the coral reefs, relax and observe the beautifully-colored tropical fish and other fascinating marine life.
The PADI Open Water Diver course is for new divers and teaches you all the skills that you need to dive safely and independently. You do not need to have any previous experience with scuba diving to begin your Open Water training.
During this fun-filled course, you’ll learn the basic knowledge and skills necessary to dive safely. Under the supervision of our PADI instructor there will be 3-4 days of training including knowledge development, pool dives and 4 ocean training dives at some of Pattaya’s best dive sites. PADI Scuba Diver Course
If you are short of time but still want to gain a diving certification, then you can complete your PADI Scuba Diver course in just two days. This is basically half of the PADI Open Water Diver course. You will still have to complete some knowledge development, pool training and then take one day in the ocean to complete two training dives.
