LETS TALK DIVING FROM BANGKOK
The Nearest Scuba Diving to Bangkok.
Bangkok Diving excursions are more than possible despite there being no dive sites close to the City Center. If you prefer to be based in Bangkok but still want to go scuba diving, then our staff at Seafari Dive Center can organize a one day trip for you. From Bangkok, the nearest place to scuba dive is the seaside resort of Pattaya, which is just a few hours away from the Capital city.
For Bangkok residents, this is where Pattaya really does become appealing, whether you want a one day trip or dive for a few days. For overnight trips to Pattaya, you can take an early morning taxi from the city center, stay for just one night in a nearby hotel, and dive for both days before returning to Bangkok the following evening. An overnight round trip such as this with 2 days diving will take up just a short amount of your valuable vacation time.
PADI Dive Courses are also available for Bangkok residents, ex-pats and holidaymakers, Even if you are short of time you can still gain your PADI Open Water certification in just 3 full days (2 nights) or upgrade to your PADI Advanced Diver Certification in just 2 days (1 Night). Nowadays with home study options such as E-Learning, the theory can be completed ahead of time which will make the dive course run much smoother.
