The PADI Divemaster course is the first level of professional diver training.

Working closely with our PADI Instructors, you will fine-tune your diving and rescue skills so that you can anticipate and easily handle small problems and prevent them from becoming emergency situations. You will be trained in diving knowledge, management, supervision, and aim to become a role model for other divers worldwide.

As a qualified PADI Divemaster, you will be able to lead other certified divers, supervise scuba diving activities and assist with student divers in training.
This course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of diving activities. Through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises, workshops, and hands-on practical assessments, you will develop the skills required to organize a variety of scuba diving activities.

Supervising dives and assisting student divers,
Diver safety and risk management,
Divemaster conducted programs and specialized skills,
The business of diving and your career,
Awareness of the dive environment,
Dive site setup and management,
Mapping an open water dive site,
Conducting dive briefings,
Organizing a search and recovery project,
Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course,
Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving,
Deep Diver workshop.

Controlled ascent with Instructor. Open water pool training

Padi Rescue Diver who is at least 18 years old may enroll in the PADI Divemaster Course. Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. A Medical Statement signed by a physician within the past 12 months. At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 upon certification.

A minimum of 10 days if you have completed all of the theory and have the required amount of logged dives before you arrive, but ideally you would need a month or more. The PADI Divemaster course can turn out to be very good value as you will be assisting on a range of dive courses including complete beginners and when you are comfortable, leading certified divers. During this period it is possible to accumulate a lot of dives very quickly gaining more and more experience as you go.

37,500 Baht including Divemaster crew pack, materials, and rental equipment. The Divemaster application fee is to be paid by the student as this is an annual subscription to PADI to retain your professional qualification.
