As a complete beginner, we can to take you straight out diving at the Pattaya islands. One of our experienced PADI Instructors will brief you on how to use your scuba equipment and then you will begin by breathing in the shallow water. When you are comfortable, you will be taken on a tour of the coral reef. Come and join us for a fun and safe day of scuba diving.

Two dives, hot lunch, all equipment and hotel taxi service included. Minimum age 10 years. No upper age limit as long as you are in good health.

Discover Scuba Diving is a try dive program and not a course, however if you enjoy your dives you may want to continue to PADI Open water certification and we will discount the amount that you have already paid from the course price.

PADI Open Water Course

Sign up for the world’s most popular scuba diving course and become a PADI Open Water Diver. As long as you are in good health and a minimum of 10 years old then your new adventure starts here. Experience the underwater world, float effortlessly over the coral reefs, relax and observe the beautifully coloured tropical fish and other fascinating marine life.

The PADI Open Water Diver course is for new divers and teaches you all the skills that you need to dive safely and independently. You do not need to have any previous experience with scuba diving to begin your Open Water training.

During this fun-filled course, you’ll learn the basic knowledge and skills necessary to dive safely. Under the supervision of our PADI instructor there will be 3 days of training including knowledge development, pool dives and 4 ocean training dives at some of Pattaya’s best dive sites. Your PADI Open water License is valid for life and is recognized as a worldwide certification.

If you are short of time but still want to gain a diving certification, then you can complete your PADI Scuba Diver course in just two days. This is basically half of the PADI Open-Water course. You will still have to complete some knowledge development, pool training and then take one day in the ocean to complete two training dives.

Getting Started

To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course, you must be a minimum of 10 years old, be able to swim at least 200 meters and be in good physical healthYou must answer ‘No’ to all of the questions on the PADI medical form.

.How Long Does It take to learn to dive?

It takes 3 days to complete your PADI Open-water Course. If you would like to begin before you arrive at Seafari then you can complete the theory via home study with an e-Learning.  If you dont have 3 days in Pattaya, you can still learn to dive and get a Scuba diver certification in 2 days which is bascially half of the open water diver course.You can top up and finish at any point in the future.


Course Schedule

Day 1 includes Dive Theory and confined/pool training where you will learn the basic skills of scuba diving. Days 2 & 3 will be out diving artound the Pattaya Islands. There will be 4 open water training dives to repeat the dive skills that you have practiced in the pool. Duration: 3 Days, 08:00am – 4:00pm
