Scuba diving in Pattaya for the first time? There are basically two options.


Option 1:- For your first diving experience, we would recommend that you opt for the very popular one day Discover Scuba Diving program.

Option 2:- If you are comfortable in the water and you are ready for greater things then you should begin your PADI Open Water Course.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving

One day boat trip includes, scuba diving equipment, 2 try dives with instructor, hot lunch, hotel transfers. Cost 3,900 Baht.

As a complete beginner, we can to take you straight out diving at the Pattaya islands. One of our experienced PADI Instructors will brief you on how to use your scuba equipment and then you will begin by breathing in the shallow water. When you are comfortable, you will be taken on a tour of the coral reef. Come and join us for a fun and safe day of scuba diving.

Minimum age 10 years. No upper age limit as long as you are in good health.

Discover Scuba Diving is a one day try dive program and not a course, however, if you enjoy your dives you may want to continue to PADI Open water certification and we will discount the amount that you have already paid from the course price.

PADI Open Water Course

Getting your diving certification isn’t as difficult as you might think. Millions of people around the world have completed The PADI Open Water course. It’s Easy, Safe and fun.

Sign up for the world’s most popular scuba diving course and become a PADI Open Water Diver. You must be at least 10 years of age, be able to swim at least 200 meters, be in good physical health and you must be able to answer ‘No’ to all of the questions on the PADI Medical form

Experience the underwater world, float effortlessly over the coral reef, relax and observe beautifully colored tropical fish and other fascinating marine life.

Course Schedule

Day 1 includes Dive Theory and confined/pool training where you will learn the basic skills of scuba diving. Days 2 & 3 will be out scuba diving around the Pattaya Islands. There will be 4 PADI Open Water training dives to repeat the dive skills that you have practiced in the pool.

Duration:-  3 Days, 08:00am – 4:30pm.

It takes 3 days to complete your PADI Open water course. If you would like to begin before you arrive at Seafari then you can complete the theory with our e-Learning version of the course.

The PADI Open Water Diver course is for new scuba divers and teaches you all the skills that you need to dive safely and independently. You do not need to have any previous experience with scuba diving to begin your Open Water training.

During this fun-filled course, you’ll learn the basic knowledge and skills necessary to dive safely.

Under the supervision of our PADI instructor, there will be 3 days of training including knowledge development, pool dives and 4 ocean training dives at some of Pattaya’s best dive sites. Your PADI Open water License is valid for life and is recognized as a worldwide certification.

PADI Scuba Diver Course

If you are short of time but still want to gain a diving certification, then you can complete your PADI Scuba Diver course in just two days. This is basically half of the PADI Open-Water course. You will still have to complete some knowledge development, pool training and then take one day in the ocean to complete two training dives.

To enroll in the PADI Scuba Diver course, you must be at least 10 years of age, be able to tread water for 10 minutes, be in good physical health and you must be able to answer ‘No’ to all of the questions on the PADI Medical form
