Course Information

Ideally, we would like you to spend at least a few hours reading your EFR manual and some of your Rescue training manual before your course begins to familiarise yourself with the rescue skills during your course.

The best way to complete all of your Knowledge development before your skill practice is by purchasing one of our  PADI e-books before you arrive here.

Day 1 Will begin with EFR (Emergency First response) training and exam. This part of the course can normally be completed in half a day. After lunch, we will begin with an Introduction to the Rescue course and what lies ahead for the next two days. The Rescue theory includes PADI Rescue DVD, Knowledge reviews and Rescue exam.

Day 2 will be conducted in a confined ocean area or Swimming pool which allows us to practice the rescue skills in a comfortable environment.

Day 3 Will be in the ocean. From here we will continue with more rescue exercises, repeat some of what we have learned so far and then begin some rescue scenarios.

On Completion, two certifications will be submitted to PADI.

To save classroom time during your holiday, you can complete your theory before you arrive here with   PADI E-Learning

or contact us about an E-book version of the training manual.

The PADI Rescue Diver course will expand your knowledge and experience by considering the safety and well being of other divers and non-divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. The Rescue course instills the student with the self-assurance that he could handle the unlikely occurrence of a diving emergency, without it resulting in serious injury.

The PADI Rescue Diver becomes a more relaxed, self-confident diver who can really enjoy his diving. Learn the skills required to not only look after yourself whilst diving, but also the people you are diving with. This is considered by many as the most fun yet challenging PADI course to undertake.

At Seafari, we endeavour to impress on new divers, the importance of continuing their diving education, and attaining the Rescue Diver rating.
