Increase your dive time with Enriched Air Nitrox
The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course is the most popular of the PADI Specialty courses. Diving with Enriched Air allows you to spend more time underwater before reaching your No Decompression Limit.
What is Enriched Air Nitrox?
The fresh air that we breathe and use to fill our scuba tanks contains 79% nitrogen and 21% oxygen. At the time of filling the cylinder, the amount of oxygen is increased and the amount of Nitrogen is reduced. The reduced amount of nitrogen in the mix allows the diver to extend his dive time, reduce the surface interval, and reduce the risk of decompression sickness. Many divers report feeling less tired when using Nitrox.
