🔥 Is Pattaya shore diving or boat diving?

All dives in Pattaya are boat diving trips to islands just a short ride (40 minutes to 1hr) offshore from Pattaya or Samae San. Each Boat trip departs in the morning and returns the early afternoon. Includes two dives with lunch/snacks on boat.

Pattaya offers a variety of dive sites, including coral reefs, shipwrecks (e.g., HTMS Khram, HTMS Kut, and The Hardeep), and islands like Koh Larn, Koh Sak, and Koh Rin.

Diving in Pattaya is possible year-round, but the best conditions are typically from November to April, with calmer seas and better visibility. During the rainy season the dive site a quieter and sometimes the cooler weather brings very good conditions.

Visibility ranges from 5 to 20 meters depending on the season, weather, and dive site. It’s usually better at offshore sites like Koh Rin and Samae San marine park.

Pattaya is a hotspot to dive with turtles and seahorses! Other marine life includes barracudas, moray eels, stingrays, nudibranchs, reef fish, and sometimes sharks. Artificial reefs and wrecks also attract diverse species.

Travel time varies by location but typically ranges from 40 minutes to 1.2 hours. Sites near Koh Larn are closer, while trips to Koh Rin and wrecks take longer. Samae San is a 45min taxi ride down the coast but the boat rides are shorter to the islands at about 30 minutes avg.

Certified divers must present proof of certification (e.g., PADI, SSI) and may need to complete a refresh if they haven’t dived recently. Depth and experience limitations apply based on certification level.

Yes you can! Advanced certified divers are allowed to dive to 30m deep so can experience all 7 of our shipwrecks as well as sign up for Wreck diver speciality training. Advanced divers in training will dive the wrecks as part of the Advanced course too!

Yes of course! If your friend or partner is not a certified diver we recommend they to book a snorkeling trip with you and let us know you are together or better yet, why not ask them if they would like to try scuba diving?

Yes, during the high season, we offer night dives, especially to nearby reefs, providing opportunities to see nocturnal marine life.

Seafari provides full dive equipment rentals, but certified divers often prefer to bring personal gear for better comfort and familiarity. We even offer FREE dive gear rental with our 10 dive packages.
