Best Schedule Example:
Day 1 – Wreck Dive 1 and Reef dive
Day 2 – Wreck Dives 2 and Reef dive
Day 3 – Wreck Dives 3 and 4
Due to Tide and Weather Conditions, it is not always possible to conduct 2 wrecks in a single day. Therefore we recommend combining your wreck specialty course with additional dives or a fun diving package and enjoying 3 or 4 days of diving with us making both deep wreck dives and shallow reef dives.
If you must complete it in 2 days please let us know so we can check the tides and ensure you’re not disappointed.
Upon completing the Wreck Diving course you'll be awarded a PADI Wreck Diver full certificate license that permits you dive in a don wrecks up to a maximum depth of 40m
The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty e-learning manual will prepare and teach you the overview of wreck dive theory. Theory for this specialty takes around 2-3 hours. Before the dives you will need to complete the specialist E-Learning.
To help reduce our carbon footprint, we provide PADI e-learning digital manuals. Each student is registered with an online manual they can download and start studying right away. This allows you to complete the reading in advance, so you’re ready to dive in as soon as you arrive!
We keep our dive courses small, with a maximum of four students per instructor. This setup lets us give each student plenty of attention, making sure you get the most out of your training. Some Dives may be reduced to two students during this course to enjoy a truly personalized and safe diving experience.
The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course consists of 4 Wreck training Dives. Our program uses shipwrecks in Pattaya and Samae san for training purposes.
We have wreck ranging from 22m deep to 30m deep and the specific wrecks for the course will be chosen by your instructor
Shipwrecks of course! Inside and out. You will of course bimp into the local wreck marine life whilst doing so! Be sure to watch out for giant grouper, stingrays and scorpion fish as well as barracuda to name but a few!
You’ll have refreshments, fruit, water, tea, and coffee on the boat, and between dives, we take a break for a delicious Thai buffet lunch in one of Pattaya’s beautiful bays. If you have any dietary needs, just let us know during registration, and we’ll take care of it!

Pattaya offers access to several fascinating wrecks, including the HTMS Khram, HTMS Kut, and HTMS Mataphon. Depending on conditions and your training needs, perhaps you’ll visit the Famous Hardeep?… in any case, you’ll dive into a selection of these during the course, each offering unique structures, marine life, and history to explore.
You need to be an Advanced Open Water Diver to start the wreck course. If you’ve already completed a wreck dive as part of your Advanced course, that dive can count as your first training dive toward the speciality certification.
Yes – under strict safety protocols. If conditions and your skill level allow, you may learn basic wreck penetration techniques using reels and lights. You’ll be taught how to avoid hazards, manage silt-outs, and use proper line-laying methods, all under instructor supervision.
You’ll learn how to safely plan and execute wreck dives, including navigation, mapping, assessing hazards, and using penetration lines if entering a wreck. The course includes four open water dives and focuses on buoyancy control, situational awareness, and safety procedures.
